- Your first Ozempic pen has 6-8 weeks of medication depending on your dose — enough until your next shipment arrives, even if your dosage increases.
- After your fourth week, you may increase your dose. Continue using your first Ozempic pen to administer the higher dose.
- Your next virtual checkup will happen between weeks ten to thirteen — keep an eye out for a reminder email about your checkup. Please make sure that you have completed your labs before your virtual checkup.

Your first pen contains 2 mg, so if you are at 0.25 mg to start it would provide four injections at 0.25 mg for the first four week prescription. In these first four weeks you would have used 1 mg (0.25 mg x four weeks) so there would still be 1 mg left over.
After week four, you may increase your dose unless you are experiencing side effects, you are finding the medication to be effective enough for you, or your healthcare practitioner has instructed otherwise. Your dose schedule
The below example helps to visualize if your dose increases to 0.5mg after week four. Remember, your dose may or may not increase depending on whether you are experiencing side effects, if you are finding it to be effective enough for you or if your healthcare practitioner has recommended that you remain at the same dose. If you do not increase your dose you need to contact hello@felixforyou.ca in order to get extra needle tips and to change your prescription.
As you can see, if your new prescription is increased to 0.5 mg, you still have two more weeks worth of medication in your pen.
Please note that this example serves as a visual aid only to estimate the possible number of doses in your first pen. Make sure to use your pen as instructed by your medication dosing schedule and treatment guide.
