Do not freeze your medication. Once your medication has been taken out of the refrigerator, it can be stored for 21 days at room temperature, provided that temperatures do not exceed 30˚C. If your medication falls below 2°C or exceeds 30°C, for a lengthy period of time, we can’t guarantee its stability. Please keep your vial in the original carton it came in to protect the medication from light.
Handle your tirzepatide (Mounjaro) vial carefully — it has glass parts. If you drop it on a hard surface, do not use it. Use a new dose for your injection.

When you first start your prescription will last 12 weeks. We’ll ship a one-month supply of vials, needles, and syringe once you’re approved, then every four weeks after receiving your prescription. Your second vial, needles, and syringe will be shipped to you during week four. How to Properly Dispose of Your Medication
Safe disposal of your tirzepatide (Mounjaro) vial, needles, and syringe is important. You’ll be provided with a sharps disposal kit and proper instructions. Do not share your needles or syringes with other people. This can expose you and others to serious harm or infection. Make sure that you’re safely disposing of your needle and syringe using the sharps disposal container provided to you with your first shipment. Empty vials can be disposed of in the garbage as long as there is no medication left.
