Why do I need to have routine lab work done while taking PrEP?

To make sure it is still safe, any patients taking PrEP will need to complete regular lab work. This ensures they are still eligible for the medication. Routine testing will be for HIV, sexually transmitted infections, kidney function and pregnancy (if applicable).
