What is Aklief?
Aklief is a prescription retinoid cream that treats acne on the face, chest, shoulders, and back in people aged nine and older. Aklief unclogs pores to clear up skin and prevent new acne from forming, and may also reduce inflammatory acne. Results may appear as soon as two weeks after starting Aklief, but the full course of the medication is usually 12 weeks.
How does Aklief work?
Aklief works by removing the dead skin cells which typically cause acne to form. It unclogs pores, lessens inflammation and swelling, and replaces old skin cells with new ones to prevent the formation of acne. Aklief is generally applied in a thin layer to the affected areas once a day in the evening.
